Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration – Tuesday, October 7, 2014

Dear Members & Supporters:

The National Latino Officers Association Executive Board, the Hispanic Society, and the NY Dominican Officers Organization cordially invites all Hispanic Police Officers and Civilian Members of the service to the 2014 Hispanic Heritage Celebration at New York City Police Department Headquarters, located at One Police Plaza NY, NY on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 5:30 pm.  This year’s theme is:

Hispanics: Honoring our Legacy, Building our Future Today

Please join us in celebrating our culture and remembering those Latinos whose sacrifices paved the way for the opportunities that are available to us today.  And by our participation, indicate the important role Hispanic law enforcement officers play in representing our communities.

Honorees include:
Keynote Speaker Rosevelie Marquez Morales, ASPIRA of New York
Rosemarie Maldonado, Deputy Commissioner of Trials
Dr. Robert Gonzalez, Assistant Commissioner of Education and Research for Training Bureau
Carlos Valdez, Deputy Inspector, CO 61 Precinct
Maximo Tolentino, Captain, CO 83 Precinct

All members of the service must wear the appropriate dress uniform for your respective agency and for civilian members, please wear business attire.  Contact the Executive Board via the NLOA website with any questions. We look forward to seeing you there.
